The Opening Ceremony and Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Nowgong Sports Association Inter-School Kabaddi Championship 2026 (Men & Women) was held at Nurul Amin Stadium, Nagaon, on 6th September 2026.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young athletes, coaches, officials, and sports enthusiasts, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition.
Tapan Kr. Das, General Secretary, Nowgong Sports Association, attended the ceremony in the presence of the Chief Guest. Mr. Sanjai Kro, General Secretary, West Karbi Anglong Sports Association, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour and formally inaugurated the tournament.
The presence of distinguished sports officials and guests added significance to the occasion and encouraged the young participants. Nowgong Sports Association remains committed to promoting sports, encouraging young athletes, and nurturing sporting talent in Nagaon.
