On 12-01-2026, the Nowgong Sports Association felicitated the medal winners of the 34th Inter-District Gymnastics Championship 2026, organised by Kamrup (R) under the Assam Gymnastics Association at Mirza. The championship witnessed outstanding performances by gymnasts from Nagaon District, who secured a total of 26 medals across different age groups, showcasing their talent, discipline, and dedication. This remarkable achievement brought immense pride and honour to the district as well as to the Nowgong Sports Association. All medal winners were formally honoured during the felicitation ceremony held at the Sports Club Pavilion Hall.
