The Carrom Summer Camp 2026 for Boys & Girls, organised by the Nowgong Sports Association (NSA), commenced on 3 July at Nurul Amin Stadium, Nagaon, Assam, and will continue until 9 July. The opening ceremony was held in the presence of NSA officials: Tapan Kr. Das (General Secretary), Asim Kr. Bhowal (Treasurer), Suruj Uddin Ahmed (Assistant Secretary), Diganta Bora (Sectional Secretary – Basketball), Mrinal Kr. Hazarika (Sectional Secretary – Cricket), and Prem Kumar Das (Sectional Secretary – Carrom). The programme was also graced by Umar Hayat Hazarika, Carrom Referee, along with former state carrom players Tirap Bordoloi and Simanta Bordoloi. The camp aims to provide young participants with quality coaching, promote sportsmanship, and enhance their skills in the game of carrom. The Nowgong Sports Association extends its best wishes to all participants for a successful and enriching camp and looks forward to nurturing the next generation of talented carrom players.
