The 75th edition of the “Sundays on Cycle” Race was organised with great enthusiasm by Assam Hockey and the Assam Gymnastics Association in association with the Nowgong Sports Association early this morning on 24 May 2026. The event witnessed the active participation of cycling enthusiasts, sportspersons, and fitness lovers from different parts of the region, promoting the message of fitness, health awareness, and an active lifestyle through sports and cycling. The race was formally flagged off by Tapan Kumar Das, General Secretary of the Nowgong Sports Association, in the presence of Ujjal Baruah, Joint Secretary, and Asim Bhowal, Treasurer of NSA. The organisers highlighted the importance of such initiatives in encouraging the younger generation towards sports, physical fitness, and disciplined living. The event concluded successfully amid a vibrant atmosphere and enthusiastic participation from the cycling community.
